WolfPack History - Chapter 1

WolfPack: Hisotry

In late 1999, WolfPack was born on a Quake TPG server, which consisted of both male and female players from Sydney and Melbourne connected by 800 miles of dial up.

At the height of its glory the WolfPack Empire was stretched out over Quake, Doom and Age of Empires, and consisted of members in Australia and Canada, WolfPack were widely regarded as the leaders in the clan community. But things were not to last.

WolfPacks founder and leader had to disconnect from the web for a while because he lost his I.S.P, he left the command of the clan, thinking it was in safe hands to TeqnoHacker.

Many months later, he managed to find an I.S.P, to his shock and horror, when he returned, the servers were empty and WolfPack had disbanded, due to fights and lack of proper management. The WolfPack website was a mess and had been abandoned. He managed to salvage the logo for WolfPack.

After running around the Quake servers and finding only most elite Quake Players still playing in 2004, it became apparent that a new game needed to be played, and a new generation of WolfPack members was needed.

Quake 3 was just as dead as Quake; He then purchased Call of Duty United Offensive, and restarted WolfPack.

The gaming world that he now knew was so different to the one he had left so long ago.

After a very successful restart of The WolfPack clan it came to a fatal halt the night before it was due to do its very first rebirth scrim, because of a lack of ranks, discipline, communication and a very fatal choice on the founders part. Yes he made a fatal decision and he will regret it for the rest of his life, but he learned a very valuable lesson.

After that night all the CODUO members left, and the group stayed together but under the clan banner of SOG (Special Operations Group). This was the second darkest hour of WolfPack.

Since the old CODUO members left WolfPack, and had shown no loyalty to the clan leaving it to bleed and die from this incident, the founder returned back to WolfPack, flying the banner once again with pride and starting from scratch again.

With every game that he entered under the WolfPack tag, he was mocked and ridiculed, by SOG members, but that did not stop him, nor would he let them or anyone else ever take WolfPack away from him again.

However, our clan leader did not give up. No, he went straight into Battlefield 2 and built up the WolfPack name once more. It was not destined to be though, because some WolfPack members were giving the clan a bad name and in the end it caused the division to collapse.

WolfPack: Clouds

WolfPack had very little luck in the past with divisions lasting and members staying in the clan. When WolfPack started playing Battlefield 2142 it couldn't even fill a squad of six. As the months went by WolfPack started filling sides of 16, demolishing enemy titans as they went. The clan gained its best members from 2142 and they are still in WolfPack, still showing the respect and loyalty they had from day one.

When Enemy Territory: Quake Wars was released, WolfPack moved all of its focus to that game. In the end, it was a bad decision. With the games many bugs and poor game play the clan lost all of its hopes in that division. Still those great members from 2142 stayed on, they knew the clan was in bad shape but they had witnessed WolfPacks true potential.

When ET: QW died WolfPack had no game to play, in the end our new division came in the form of Call of Duty 4. WolfPack stabilized and started to grow once more and at this point started branching off into Counter Strike: Source. For a couple of months we had our own game servers, this was the first time we had a server to call our own, it was definitely a high point in WolfPacks life but it was shortly followed by those ‘In Command’ of WolfPack leaving.

WolfPack now swears no allegiance to any game, only to the clan and each other, the clan asks no questions about a players past nor does it offer much hope for each player's future in the clan.

Currently the WolfPack empire stretches across the entire country of Australia and then reaches as far north as Asia, and as far east as California including New Zealand. Through his efforts and the new generation of members WolfPack has almost been fully restored to its former glory. With each game that the entire WolfPack clan plays it takes another step forward, soon it will have world wide domination, the WolfPack will be feared among gamers world wide.

WolfPack has now set its sights on the Americas, Canadian, European and United Emerites theatres of operations for new members.

WolfPack fights to the last man standing, no matter the map, no matter the spawn point - It is the only way he has found to give WolfPack another chance at life.
