WolfPack Counter-Strike: Source Map Pack Installation Guide

DO NOT USE WIN RAR - follow the instructions from this document and you will be fine - If you use WinRar and do not follow these instructions do not bother asking for help.

Steps

1. Download all the files for the map pack you wish to install from the map packs page
2. Rename all the file extentions to ‘.exe’; For example if the file your downloading is named ‘WolfPackRatsMapPackv1_2Part1of7.zip’ rename the file to ‘WolfPackRatsMapPackv1_2Part1of7.exe’
   (the following icon should appear )

   What if you cannot see the file extension?

3. Virus/Malware/Spyware Scan the file

   Caution: Always check any files you download from the internet for Virus/Malware/Spyware especially EXE files

4. If the file has passed your scans - then run the EXE file(double click the file - this may take a while depending on your computer)
5. Click the ‘...’ button
6. Locate and select your ‘cstrike’ folder and click OK
   (c:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\YourAccount\Counter-strike source\cstrike\)

   

7. Click ‘Extract’

8. If and when you will receive a prompt asking ‘Would you like to replace folders and files?’ Select ‘Yes to all’

   

9. Perform these steps for each EXE file in the map pack.
10. Installation complete
